A survey was undertaken of patient advocacy groups across Europe to identify the trend in awareness and extend of counterfeit medicines.  Counterfiet medicines is an international issue affecting a number of regularly taken medicines and Together4Health was asked to co-ordinate a programme involving patient organisations across Europe to explore the the problem from a patient's prespective.

The report Bitter Pills was launched at a high profile media event in Dublin with the Irish Patients Association. The event included presentations from Europol and security experts.
